Maybe it’s a little early, but I can’t help but be excited for fall. Fall is my favorite time of the year! The trees change colors, the air chills and.. well who am I kidding, I live in San Diego. No season change here. But, after living near a forest for three years in northern California, I grew very fond of fall and have carried it with me all the way down the 101.
Aside from the weather, the romantic feeling in the air and pumpkin spice lattes, I can’t wait for fall to change out my wardrobe and break out the boots. Don’t get me wrong, I loved changing up my summer clothes for festival season and sunny San Diego. In fact, these were a few of my favorite buys this summer:
Mint Pants Fadora’s & Bathing Suits
Luckily, there is a fall version for each of these:
With every holiday season comes holiday parties. I don’t know if I would call them the best, but the most entertaining holiday party is your office holiday party. Do dress nice. It is a company party, not your best friend’s party.
Pair corporate with festive to meet your attire needs. Don’t be afraid to indulge in festive holiday colors, either. It’s the time of year to let your pearly-whites, golds and reds shine!
Don’t dress like Santa’s whore. You won’t impress anybody dressing inappropriate to your corporate holiday party (or get a bigger bonus).
Do have a drink and enjoy yourself. You are allowed to have a couple of social drinks to enjoy with your coworkers and staff. Loosen up a little and share some good holiday stories, just not too juicy you never hear the end of it on Monday.
Don’twake up under your boss’s Christmas tree. You will hear about it on Monday..and possibly Tuesday!
Ignore the mess. Today is all about simple business. The coral cotton blazer
screams casual success while the plain white tee matches the white hems
on the skin tight navy blue jeans (with a secret pinup cartoon on the inside pocket). To continue
the simple white look, take a peak at the white and gold accessories, only two, and just enough. Gold and white compliment pink’s new best friend: Coral. Coral has been big since spring and has not plans of leaving as the pastel fashion is getting as big as ever.
