As I watch my lovely Charger’s quarterback, Philip Rivers, throw yet another interception (his 9th so far this season) I wonder what it feels like. I know exactly how it feels as a fan, the anger and frustration watching as it happens and the look of defeat on River’s ever-so-emotional facial expressions. but how does it feel to watch a moment you planned for, you were so sure of, change?
It’s moments like those that do happen often, in real-time and to real people, not just the Chargers. Those moments can make or break a person, showcasing their true character and strength. Life only allows you a number of moments you can fully dictate with no interference.
As John Lennon said, “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans.”
